The list that follows has been taken from the accounts of survivors of sexual abuse:

Raped vaginally, anally or orally with objects including bottles, broom handles, vegetables, knives as well as penis. However the criminal law defines rape as forced vaginal or anal penetration by penis only.
Violent sex
Group sex
Forced prostitution
Forced to watch/re-enact pornography
Sex in front of others
Sex with other men/women
Videoing/photographing her in sexual acts
Shows videos or photos to others without woman's consent
Sex with animals
He openly has affairs
He boasts about sex with other women
Brings his lover into the house
Sex on demand
Criticises woman's sexual performance
Criticises her body
Forces her to dress sexually
Any unwanted sexual contact
Bites breasts or genitalia
Knowingly passes on STD or HIV virus
Threatens to infect her with above
Threatens to sexually or physically abuse the children
Forces children to watch/join in sex
Forces woman to sexually abuse chidren
Name calling - frigid, whore etc
Forces woman to do particular type of sex
Withdraws affection
